The Blues City Bruisers released C.J. Cron and Carlos Carrasco with topper’s rights.  Released National League players Jonathan Villar, Tommy Pham, Nick Castellanos, Kole Calhoun, Jharel Cotton, Ervin Santana and Ryne Stanek.  Released Yasiel Puig and Steven Wright.

 

The Brew Jays released Matthew Boyd with topper’s rights.  Released National League players Josh Phegley and Jonathan Lucroy.

 

Karp’s High Ratios released Jonathan Schoop with topper’s rights.  Released National League players Roenis Elias and Jose De Leon.  Released Jake Junis after buying out his 2020 contract.  Released Isiah Kiner-Falefa, Dustin Pedroia, Devon Travis, Greg Allen, Tyler Naquin and Cody Allen.  Optioned Brusdar Graterol to the farm system.  Signed Mitch Garver and Shane Bieber to four-year contracts with salaries of $6 in 2020, $11 in 2021, $14 in 2022, $16 in 2023 and signing bonuses of $24 each.  Signed Jose Leclerc to a two-year contract with salaries of $12 in 2020, $17 in 2021 and a signing bonus of $15.

 

The L.L. Beans released George Springer with topper’s rights.  Released National League players John Hicks and Mookie Betts.  Released Tanner Roark

 

The Nordica Knucklers released Tim Anderson with topper’s rights.  Released National League players Nick Hundley, Freddy Galvis, Eric Sogard, Jay Bruce, Mike Leake, Emilio Pagan and Will Harris.  Released C.C. Sabathia.

 

Patton’s High Velocity released Roughned Odor and J.A. Happ with topper’s rights.  Released National League players Welington Castillo, Jesus Aguilar, Hunter Pence, David Price and Hunter Strickland.

The Brew Jays sent Jose Ramirez and James Paxton to the Three Stooges as the two major league players to be named in the Aug. 5, 2019 Dee Gordon trade.  Acquired Logan Gilbert from the Stooges as the minor league player to be named in that trade.

 

Karp’s High Ratios re-signed Jojanse Torres (sp-Fayetteville) to a minor league contract.

 

 

Sept. 30

The Blues City Bruisers and the Brew Jays agreed to cancel the player to be named and owed to the Brew Jays from the July 24, 2017 Adrian Beltre trade, as well as the player to be named and owed to the Blues City Bruisers from the July 24, 2017 Delino DeShields Jr. trade.

 

Karp’s High Ratios acquired Jake Junis from the Wa-Wa Two Sees as the player to be named in the Aug. 5, 2019 Aaron Sanchez trade.

 

Patton’s High Velocity re-signed Kyle Isbel (of-Wilmington) to a minor league contract.
